I’m Coach Michelle — a certified Trim Healthy Mama coach, homeschooling mom of four, and firm believer that healthy living shouldn’t feel complicated. Whether you’re brand new to THM or just ready to find your consistency again, you’re in the right place.

I still remember the exact date I bought the Trim Healthy Mama book , July 1st, 2015. At that point, I was completely worn down from chasing every new diet trend. I’d done the ultra-restrictive 800-calorie plans, counted and cut everything, tried keto, and constantly felt like I was failing. Every approach left me feeling trapped, frustrated, and disconnected from real life. I was tired of living like food was the enemy and exhausted by the idea that being healthy meant I couldn’t enjoy my life.
When I found THM, something clicked. It wasn’t just another diet — it was a way of living that finally made sense. It taught me how to nourish my body with freedom and grace, not guilt and restriction. I learned how to eat all the food groups again, how to enjoy what I was eating, and how to feel good doing it.
That’s where everything began to shift. Slowly, I started regaining my energy, my confidence, and my joy. I lost 60 pounds, but even more importantly, I gained a new sense of peace and balance.
Now, as a homeschooling mom of four, married to my high school sweetheart for over 20 years, I know exactly how chaotic and full life can feel. I also know that when you find rhythms and routines that support your health, everything else — your energy, your focus, your joy — falls into place.
That’s why I became a Trim Healthy Mama Certified Coach. Through Reaching for Health, I help women find their own balance, one step at a time. Whether it’s through personalized one-on-one coaching or the supportive community of The Climb, I’m here to show that you don’t have to overhaul your life — you just have to start.
